>New week, new attitude

>I couldn’t really top last week’s pictures, so I’m going to reproduce a few more this week. I think some of them are so stunning. I hope people are following the link.

My weekend was quite good. Friday I did the shopping on the way home again and chilled in front of the telly.

On Saturday I did a bit of work and a bit of chores, then Saturday evening I drove over to Sheffield, picking my date up on the way, to see 3 Gothic bands. I had such a good time I’m going to finally venture into Leeds this coming Saturday to see 2 of them again. They’re so friendly, and the band I went to see was the best I’ve ever heard them, AND I enjoyed their new material too.

Sunday was a drive down to Birmingham to see Mom and Dad. I fixed a few things on Dad’s pc, stayed a few hours, then drove home and chilled some more in front of the telly. I can’t remember what I watched on Friday, but last night I watched Keira Knightley in Duchess, a very sad story, and Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth: The Golden Age (and, ahem, Ralph Fiennes and Clive Owen …).

This morning I had all good intentions to get up early and get on with work … but when I came to print pdfs off that had arrived over the weekend, I realised I had to reinstall my colour printer … it took several attempts but I got there in the end, and at least printing pdfs for work that will go in the recycle bin is cleaning my printer heads. And yes, I have considered producing a bill for this printing work and presenting it to the nit picker …

Onwards and upwards, though. I woke up this morning feeling very positive about everything and determined to get on with stuff. So jobs today include proofing pdfs and extra work on the confidential project.

    >Hi, glad you've had a good weekend. You can uncross your fingers now. Bruge is wonderful but the Market is quite small, I prefer Lincoln's Market. However it never stopped raining heavily. It didn't stop us exploring, or eating loads of chocs and chips and drinking Belgium beer. I will definitely go back but in warmer weather. The old cobbled streets and buildings, the beautiful canals, all breathtaking.

    >I also saw "Dutchess" a while back. What a brilliant film !I'm also feeling more positive. I think there is a natural cycle where after things that have been quite challenging , we have a time of reflection, and then can feel more determined ..to go onwards and upwards. I'm feeling that too:-)

    >Yes, I think you're right. Either that or we all share a lot of the same biorhythms.
